Cette petite chambre coffret de format 9x12, est en bois gainé maroquin. Elle porte une plaque indiquant la marque "Folding-Diamant déposé 8, rue St Joseph, 8 Paris". Cette adresse correspond à celle de la Librairie des connaissances utiles, qui édite le Journal des connaissances utiles. Cette information se trouve confirmée par une réclame trouvée dans une revue.
D’après Mc Keown, il s’agit d’une production Huttig.
Elle a un objectif ménisque sans marque, un obturateur à guillotine à six vitesses, et pose, deux diaphragmes à trous. Il y a un petit viseur sur dépoli, comportant un petit miroir qui bascule selon le sens d’utilisation.
